IMPORTANT:

In order to add a new budget, you need to OWN the company (or have the proper manage rights), not "share" the company. 

Review that you are indeed the OWNER of the company first before adding a blank budget


Q: "How many budgets do I need?"


A: In a nutshell: I would suggest to focus on a first scenario (aka, budget), let's call this the: "Base Scenario" and when you are almost done and satisfied with this scenario you could "duplicate" that scenario and rename it to "Optimistic Scenario". In this second scenario you would, for instance, forecast for more sales revenue and lower expenses... And just continue with this methodology and create your optimistic, pessimistic, realistic, etc. scenarios! 


In order to add a new budget, make sure you do the following steps:


1- Check to see if your Budgeto subscription includes the "Unlimited Scenarios" option.

Or, Start by opening the "CONFIGURATION MENU" by pressing on the configuration button in the top right, then select the "Subscription plan" button to consult your current subscription.

On the Subscription Plan page you will see all the details of you present subscription, including unlimited scenarios options. Make sure that you are subscribed to this option. 

If not: Then you will have to upgrade your subscription to include this option before continuing. Consult the following articles from our Knowledge Base that explains how to do this with screenshots and easy to follow instructions:

2- You can quickly add a blank budget to an existing company by pressing the Add button in the top menu. 


3- Enter the name of the new blank budget and press Submit.
