DEPRECIATION (amortization) refers to the decrease in the value of assets such as; buildings, vehicles, equipment, etc.  

   

Budgeto automatically calculates all depreciation using the straight-line method based on the most commonly used depreciation rates.


How to modify DEPRECIATION rates


Click here to access this section in Budgeto


1- Click on Assets on the left-side menu, and then select Capital Assets.

  

2-  Click on the button "Capital assets categories" in the top of the screen.

   

3- At this page, you will be able to modify any current depreciation rate (in years), as well as changing the Method from Straight-line to Declining.


4- IMPORTANT Don't forget to click on the SAVE button once you have finished modifying the depreciation rates.
