There are three essential rules to be able to use your HISTORICAL DATA in your FINANCIAL PROJECTION. If one of these rules is not respected, you won’t be able to report your historical data in your financial reports and/or you won’t be able to access your financial projection in the VIEW PROJECTION menu.
If you have one of the following three errors, this means that there is a risk of a corrupted balance sheet and you need to correct it.
Error 1 – Selection different
To be able to view your financial projection in the VIEW PROJECTION menu, the last month selected for your Historical Balance Sheet must match the last month selected for your Historical Profit and Loss.
Error 2 – Retained earnings difference
To be able to view your financial projection in the VIEW PROJECTION menu, you must ensure that the retained earnings at the end are the same in your Historical Balance Sheet and your Historical Profit and Loss.
Error 3 – Error filling forms
To ensure the continuity of calculation of your existing assets and liabilities, you must make sure that you have filled out the forms for the following four accounts in your Historical Balance Sheet:
- Capital assets;
- Long-term debt;
- Share capital.
